YOUR MOMENTS PRESERVED FOR A LIFETIME AND LONGER

What’s Included?

When you book your birth with me, you are investing in my time, talent, and experience. With over 60 births under my belt, a butt-ton of education and learning, and countless hours spent honing my craft, I add a lot of value to the birth space.

When you hire me to document your birth we always meet in-person to make sure I’m the best fit for your space and that I have a good understanding of your vision and plans for labor and birth. You will also receive a client questionnaire that helps me tailor my services specially for you and your birth, letting me know your wishes and preferences for documentation and privacy. For every package, I am on-call for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from week 38 of your pregnancy (holidays included). I join you as soon as active labor is established, documenting the entirety of your labor and birth. I stay up to one-hour after birth to capture all of those sweet “golden hour” moments and occasionally a newborn exam if applicable. And with every birth I always deliver a sneak peak of 8-12 edited images WITHIN 48 HOURS for you to use as a birth announcement.

Because I specialize almost exclusively in birth photography, I have the on-call process down to an art. This means you can rest assured that your photographer will be by your side within two hours of being asked to join, often much sooner.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Yes, I know birth photography is a huge investment so I want to make it as attainable as possible. I require a $500 non-refundable retainer to book your package and the remainder can be split into monthly payments up to 37 weeks gestation.

  • I would be so honored to have the opportunity to share your birth story. Through images, we have the chance to change the way our culture views birth. However, I never share images my clients are not comfortable sharing. You will have the chance prior to and after the birth to tell me which images you are or are not comfortable with me sharing.

  • All of my images come with a print release. I cannot guarantee the quality or satisfaction of the final products should you opt to print outside of companies I choose to work with.

  • Birth can be so unpredictable! Communication is the key to me making it on time and I have an excellent track record of making it to even the fastest births. Though I arrive at your place of birth within two hours (or sooner) upon notification of active labor, missed births can still happen. If I miss the birth because your labor was fast, I still come to your place of birth to document your story, in this case, a precipitous or fast birth. I may choose to offer a complimentary additional session such as a Fresh 48 or Family Session if I do not believe you received an abundant gallery. In the event of illness, an act of God, or serious family emergency, I do work with several birth photographs in the area that I may send in my place to document your birth for me.

  • I currently feel comfortable taking between 3-4 births each month, so reach out as soon as possible if you are interested in booking because spots do fill up quickly!

  • Day or night, false alarms, and even on holidays, being on-call means I am available for you 24/7 from 38 weeks until you have your baby in your arms! When I am “on-call” for your birth it means I am not on vacation out of state, away from my phone for extended periods, or attending important family events that would keep me from being by your side when you need me. It means my cameras are always ready to go, batteries always charged, phone volume turned up and available to drop what I’m doing and come document your story. I know IT’S A LOT. Which is a huge part of why birth photography is considered an investment, as a birth photographer, I have to say no to a LOT in order to have a big YES for you ((trust me, I love it)).

  • I offer birth coverage for all kinds of births! Here are just a few:

    Freebirth/Unassisted Birth

    Homebirth

    Birth Center Births

Hospital births with or without induction or epidural

    Scheduled Inductions

    Scheduled C-Sections

    Surrogacy Stories

What Mothers Are Saying

“This is exactly what I wanted. Raw and uncut ♥️♥️♥️ The pictures are so beautiful ❣️We all cried. Even our 6 year old. Not every labor is the same. Amanda listened to me when I told her labor went fast. She dropped what she was doing and came to my side. Her work is amazing and although she wasn’t my doula, she was just my photographer, she helped me advocate for myself which was pleasant.”
